It's a fantastic system for the money. I got one as an upgrade from my Cambridge Clearview.

If someone out here is looking for their first Home Theater or an entry level Theater to compliment their HDTV you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal than this. It is refurbed but at least it's from Best Buy. $100? You can't beat that.

Not all that sure the receiver is not is not almost as nice as the the RCA I paid 300 bucks for not quite as many bells and whistles but ceratinly 5.1 and about teh same wattage.

and to get the other speakers along with it a really good value.

it is a starter system only. the speakers themselves at not bad at that price.

It cannot be compared with top-quality all-in-one home theaters, but it's perfect for a second room or your first HT system. The price cannot be beat.

That's really nice. The only thing that's lacking is an upconvert to HD and and HDMI. Otherwise it would be perfect.

it's just an audio system. you can get upconverting DVD players for like 30 bucks anymore.
