Ivesco Field at Mile High

Okay, I'm taking a stab at something I heard/read the last couple of seasons to see if anyone has a current update. What I heard/read was that Invesco has declared bankruptcy and the owners of our stadium were somewhere in the process of recovering naming rights. 1) Anyone know more than this and 2) any chance our stadium will just be named "Mile High Stadium: again without the corporate BS attached.

Considerin the money that is involved, I don't think you'll ever see our stadium being named without a corporate sponsor again.

Maybe they can not change the name of the stadium, until all of this is resolved. Since there is not an Invesco Funds Group anymore, I would like to see the name go back to "Mile High Stadium", as the taxpayers paid for the stadium, but probably, it will be put up again for naming rights - that brings in big bucks.

Same could be said for alot of stadiums out there and Qwest Field comes to mind!!:D I would love to see it MHS again

Unfortunately the days of stadiums without a sponsors name is the exception rather than the rule. Money rules and most naming deals bring in big, big bucks.

The worst I have ever seen though is in the NHL, Phoenix. Jobing.com Arena. Like, seriously?
