Anyone else notice that we are really bad and can never win playing a team in Florida?

Remember the game a few years ago with Gus Ferrotte and his dolphins?

Here it is (from 1980 on):
September 11, 2005 at Miami Dolphins L 34-10
October 2, 2005 at Jacksonville Jaguars W 20-7
September 19, 2004 at Jacksonville Jaguars L 7-6
December 2, 2001 at Miami Dolphins L 21-10
September 26, 1999 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers L 13-10
December 13, 1999 at Jacksonville Jaguars L 27-24
December 21, 1998 at Miami Dolphins L 31-21
November 15, 1981 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers W 24–7

I also find it weird that we went 17 years without playing a game in Florida.

Yeah. The mile high air to the humid hot air must carmelize their lungs or something.

Terrible on the East Coast period.

I still remember the blow out lose in Miami week one a few years ago...34-10. Champ got hurt that game. Nearly lost the one in Buffalo a year or so after that but Elam punched one through as time was ticking down.

I try to forget Sneak. But i do remember losing to Miami in 99' in the regular season only to trounce their sorry asses back at Mile High in the playoffs. That was sweet revenge. :)

Just not in Florida there was a study done a year so ago that showed the west coast teams that traveled to east coast especially early games they lost like 70% of the games.

Unfair advantage, they should have to play all the games in the west. :D

Perhaps schedule them as later games instead of 5-8 hours on a plane getting to some of these places and then having to get ready to play when most are having normally breakfast.

Excellent point, has this ever been proposed before?

I recall a horrible opener against St Louis 3 or 4 years ago.

At some point it would be nice to simply have a home opener to start the season!

years ago i moved from colorado to the humid heart of corn country. the first day in the my new locale felt like i was breathing water and walking underwater. it was unreal, unsettling and frickin' weird. i can't imagine how difficult playing football would be in that transition.
