Didn't see it posted. Here are some of the early cuts. No real surprises. I'm a little disappointed about Baker. I had high hopes for him.

The Broncos on Friday announced several transactions, cutting their roster to 65 players as they inch closer to a 53-man roster by the NFL's deadline of 5:00 p.m. MDT on Saturday.

The club placed LenDale White on injured reserve one day after the running back left the field during the second quarter of the fourth preseason game at Minnesota.

White, a Denver native, signed with Denver on the fourth day of Broncos training camp. In two preseason games, he rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide receiver Alric Arnett, defensive lineman Chris Baker, offensive lineman Paul Duncan, linebackers Jammie Kirlew and Johnny Williams and tight ends Kory Sperry and Nathan Overbay were waived on Friday.

Baker became the only college free agent on the team to make the active roster from training camp in 2009. He saw action in one game last season, making his debut against Pittsburgh on Monday Night Football on Nov. 9

Kirlew was selected out of Indiana by the Broncos with the 232nd overall pick in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He registered two total tackles for the team in three preseason games. Kirlew earned All-Big Ten honors twice at IU, where his 23 sacks place him tied for third on the school's all-time list and his 52.5 tackles-for-a-loss are tied for second-most in Indiana annals.

The Broncos were awarded Kory Sperry off waivers via Miami on Aug. 24. He tallied three catches for 31 yards and a touchdown in eight games of action, including one start, as a rookie with the Dolphins last year. Sperry was an All-Colorado selection as a senior at Pueblo County High School in Pueblo, Colo., and he caught 141 passes for 1,763 and 20 touchdowns at Colorado State.

Williams is a first-year player who spent last season on Pittsburgh's practice squad after competing in the preseason with Jacksonville. He signed with the team as a free agent on Aug. 12, reuniting with Kentucky teammate Wesley Woodyard. At UK Williams collected 131 total tackles in 49 career games.

Arnett, Duncan and Overbay were all invited to compete in training camp as rookie college free agents and signed with the team on April 30.

As a two-year starter at West Virginia, Arnett played 26 career games and caught 78 passes for 1,052 yards and nine touchdowns.

Duncan started 24 of 41 career games at Notre Dame, seeing time at both tackle spots while he was there.

Overbay ranks eighth in touchdown catches -- and first among tight ends -- in Eastern Washington history. He caught 93 passes for 1,189 yards and 19 touchdowns in college and earned first-team All-Big Sky honors his senior year.

The Broncos will have finalized their 53-man roster and composed an eight-man practice squad by Sunday evening.

Hoping baker was gonna make the team but with Williams, Fields, and Bannan I guess you don't need a 3rd string NT that won't contribute at any other positions

Kirlew made some noise in the early PreSeason games. Baker has the size. Arnett scored a TD. Possible PS members.
