Judging from all the ESPN "experts" rankings, the Broncos are not predicted to have a very good year. The highest ranking they got was 18 and lowest was 27. 27??? That means there would only be 5 worse teams than us? No way that happens.

What does everyone think? I think it is a total joke.

I dont pay much attention to those things. There is so much parody in the NFL that anything can happen at anytime. No way i saw the Giants beating the Patriots let alone making it to the big dance last year.

The only people whose opinions of the Broncos concern me are the Broncos
themselves. I want them to have a winning attitude. That is how they will
win.

Everyone else, I could give a rat's behind . . .

sounds a little low to me

I think if ALL the moons line up just right and no injuries with SAN crumbling then they might be close to TEN but more like 16-18..

I got the Broncos ranked number 1.

Everyone else is somewhere in the rearview mirror.

I think the rankings are somewhat fair by the national media. Denver didn't make the playoffs and finished 7-9. There wasn't any big name FA signings. Denver's first round pick was an offensive lineman. I think the national media hit it spot on. It doesn't mean I believe it. Power rankings are fun, but don't mean anything. Especially before training camp has even started, let alone preseason games. But, the general consensus the Broncos didn't do anything and they're ranked 22nd.

They could be right. The problem Denver had last year at DT is a huge problem to have. But its not like I really value E!SPNs "perspective" considering that the place is teeming with rabid New Englanders.

Frankly, I don't think there's enough parody in the NFL.

Maybe Weird Al could fill in on MNF.

I used to get upset by power rankings but I've since realized that they are worthless and I couldn't give 2 shits what the people at ESPN think of us.

I think ESPN's learned not to rank Denver high, as they have had Denver in the top 8 both the last 2 years and the Broncos have flamed out both year. This year they are just low balling them instead of high balling them.

Exactly. Rankings don't help you win any games which is why I don't pay any attention to them. Other than debating they are pointless.

Nah, I think there's parody in the NFL, too.

Witness last year: what the Broncos were supposed to do and what they actually did.

. . . or didn't.

That's not parody, that's just sad.

We deserve to be looked at as a horrible teams based off our Defense and how they played last year alone. The offense moved the ball allday last year though. Just could not punch it in.

Talk's pretty cheap, this ratings crap is even cheaper. All that matters is what they SHOW us. Anyone got a fast-forward calendar so we can get to the SEASON already???
