This was expected months ago if you ask me. Prater has redefined his kicking technique since coming to Denver. Hes not the same kicker hes been and hes still young. Sometimes guys certain guys just take a while to get it. Hes 25 and got high praises throughout Mini camps for being the most consistant hard workng Kicker we had not missing one kick. So i can see why hes been handed the job. Hopefully it traslates to gameday also.

I hope Hartley catches on somewhere. He seems like a good kid, and was a reliable kicker for the Sooners.

Hopefully, he made Prater earn the job.
