But it just further proves the point that we have been inconsistent. Minus 2 or 3 long runs, we haven't done much in the running game. That is the definition of inconsistent. I didn't say we have done bad but our running game definitely hasn't been consistent over the first half.

A lot of it has to do with a different holder, but a lot of it just comes with age. There's a reason Elam had his best season ever last year and that's because most of them were within 40 yards, and he had his least attempts since 2000. Elam doesn't have the leg he used to, and regardless of how Mike Shanahan would spin it or anyone, he's not trusted outside 50 anymore, and he's having trouble after 45 as well. I think I'll be finding a new kicker for fantasy.

That takes balls with 20 minutes left in the game to pull a move like that. Momentum is definitely with Oakland now, and that's a grease ball (albeit a nice move) by Kiffin to opt for the onside. Denver is still having trouble generating a pass rush, and the underneath / short game is really killing us. This just makes that field goal all the more important. It'd be a real kicker to see us lose like this.

I haven't seen a side angle to really tell. I thought that might be the case at first, when they didn't immediately call the safety, but not sure. I think it will be tough to overturn this unless there is a down the goal line camera angle.

Just as I was about to comment on inconsistencies in our pass rush, Moss comes up with a nice little lack and force fumble. That's his first sack, but I think out of his six tackles this year (excluding the sack) two or three have been for loss. That's huge. I hope he continues to improve.

My Bison won with 7 seconds on a 35 yard touchdown pass against Sam Houston State last night and it was the greatest game I've ever saw, EVER. Any level of play, any sport. It was fantastic. I'm sure I lost two years of my life due to stress over last night's game, but hey - you have to enjoy life and you have got to love Denver Broncos football. :)
