Rookie contract signings

With only 19 days left until training camp starts. Is it normal that we have so many unsigned rookies? I do realize that the uncapped year coming up is an issue.Though league wide, these guys just seem to be really pushing it. Thoughts. ......

Since the high draft round contracts usually base their contract on what previous draftees signed, it's no surprise that this happens. AFAIK the top ten draft picks usually domino from 10 to 1 even though their all on different teams.

Not too much to worry about as the Broncos have always done a really good job of getting our first round draft choices to camp on day 1. I wouldn't be too worried until a week into camp. EVen then it's not a huge deal.

Actually I heard that league wide signings are up by something like 19% which makes this a good year, if that helps.

Another reason to put in place standard rookie 2 year contracts. That way you don't have a Jamarcus Russell type scenario as well.
