It's funny... All Pats fans loved Samuel while he was on the team... And he is very overrated and very overpaid, but he was still by far the best CB on your team.

And I would call it the greatest choke ever... They went 18-0, then lost in the biggest game... That's a choke, whether the game was great or not.

Oh yea....he used to talk him up big time. My, my, my how his tune has changed.

My tune has always remained the same regarding A$ante. He was able to overachieve in NE because he benefited from BB's disguise defense.

A$ante prefers to play off the line rather than press. He's not strong with the jam and prefers to come up on the receiver in the pass route instead of turning and running. He only plays one side of the field as well.

BB and Pioli did not feel the limitations in his game earned him the huge money he felt he deserved. Philly fans will soon realize that because the Eagles prefer to play a press at the line and I'm not sure Samuel will ever become comfortable in that role. In fact, I've already heard that several Eagle rookie free agents who have no shot of making the team have already blown by him in workouts.

Just wait and see how well A$ante's replacements like Fernando Bryant, Jason Webster and Jonathon Wilhite perform in BB's defense.

There will be no dropoff there my little boxed lunch.

You better hope so. I definately feel the Pansies are going to feel the loss. Guess we'll see this year. Never even heard of a Bryant, Webster. I have heard of Gerald Wilhite who used to play for the Broncos...used to do backflips when he'd score if I remember correctly. Never heard of the Pansy Wilhite. Trusting a bunch of unknowns to take over Samuels spot when he is one year removed from the highest interception total in the league is far fetched. Good luck with that.

I do seem to remember you flaunting that int total in our face in comparison to Bailey. Nice back pedal though. ;)

There is a drop off from Samuel to Hobbs, let alone from Samuel to Bryan, Webster, and Wilhite. You have clearly lost it WTE because anyone with half a brain knows that Samuel was far and above your best CB, and even with him your secondary needed some rebuilding.

Now I will agree on Philly fans not being very happy very soon, but that's only because Lito Sheppard is twice what Samuel is, and I would rather have Sheppard and Brown than Sheppard and Samuel.
