Anyone else pumped about this game? Its in Japanese arcades now and is slated for PS3/360 soon. I grew up on arcade games in the 80's, and Street Fighter was always one of my favorites. I remember marking my place in line for the game with a quarter on the joystick panel......can't wait to play this on LIVE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-IuPwIKQ1s&feature=related

i grew up playing this game also..many quarters wasted and many classes skipped because of capcom.

You don't "waste" quarters on this game, you merely give them to the gaming gods. :D

Bump.

This comes out next month and I am pretty excited. Street Fighter always takes me back to the days of arcades (though I really miss the Galaga/Pacman days). Just ordered a custom joystick from www.arcadeinabox.com

Killzone 2 will be thee best FPS ever...Just wait and see.

I pre-ordered KZ2 last week and got a code for the demo..Demo is to be released on Feb 3rd to whoever has the code.

Personally I think its BS that they only give out the demo to people who pre-order...Isn't the point of the demo to see if you like it enough to buy the game?
Bad move Sony.

I'll be on the look out for it. I've played Street Fighter Third Strike pretty much into the ground at this point.

I am very pumped about this. I will be finding a copy for PC (If I remember, they are releasing this for pc.) I have been playing a lot of MK vs DC with my neighbor (Its better than the reviews say it is). When I was a teenager, you could usually find me at the MGM Grand Arcade playing KI or MK4. Hell, I remember when there were 30 different versions of Street Fighter 2 Turbo edition with hacked roms where you could have 30 sonic booms on screen at once. I am almost as excited about this one as I am Tekken 6.

Definitely. I've already seen some sites that are posting tournament info.

Get the arcade stick.

Got my arcade in a box stick last week. http://www.aiabstore.com/main.sc;jsessionid=2C0DDE016496D5477DC6403239038DB 3.qscstrfrnt02

American style joystick (not that crappy Popsicle Japanese style one) concave buttons, and a simple dark grey finish to match my Elite 360. I'm heading down to pick up the game after I get off work at the Art Museum at 5:00 and don't expect to come up for air for a while once I get home.

I got to play a little bit over the weekend. Its fun, but it reminded me why I stopped playing Street Fighter. I could get back into it when I finally get my hands on a 360.

i tried street figher on the 360 and the controls just didnt do it for me. any old school street fighter player knows what im talkin about. ps3 controller resembles the SNES control pad the most so the moves are easier for me to bust out.

Actually, I need something like this to be remotely comfortable. And the bumpers on the 360 controller gave me the snes feel.

The Xbox360's d-pad is terrible, IMO. I had such a hard time with pulling stuff off in SFIII.

I have the arcadeinabox.com stick and its great. For my friend I got him the Xbox 360 MadCatz Fightpad. That thing is really nice. 6 button layout on the face, good shoulder buttons, and a floaty directional pad. A rapid fire feature rounds out a nice 39.99 package (as opposed to the 170.00 I spent on my stick!). I even use it when I just have a few minutes online and have NO problem with any moves.

I just let my live subscription expire yesterday, probably won't re-up until after finals. My record was like 42 W and 68 L. Towards the end I just starting using Zangief on all those cheap Akuma jumpy fireball spammers. Spinning lariat is awesome! My best characters are still Ken and Ryu, only guy I can't stand is Dan and that new Mexican Wrestler.
