IMO, right now neither one of them are pathetic. Historically, they both are, but right now they're both on the verge of emerging.

Hint: It starts with an "R", ends with an "S", and has "AIDER" in the middle.

If you read it again, I think he means over the history of the league. The Raiders used to be a pretty prestigious franchise.

Lions. Everyone wants to talk about how much they've supposedly improved, but all they'll have to show for it is a losing record and another top-five pick. Viva Matt Millen!

could not agree with you more. They have sucked real bad since Barry Sanders retired.

but the Cards are pretty sad as well. It is like a 32nd place tie

The Chiefs

Chiefs are not bad at all KCL. They acutually have made the playoffs and been a good team for a lot of years. I am talking history of the teams.

these two take the cake as being sad.

someone said the Raiders, the Raiders were once one of the best teams in the 70s 80s etc. Did have some success under Gruden not too long ago.

The Lions and Cards are so pathetic that neither has EVER played in a Super Bowl and the Cardinal have never since 1967 (the Super Bowl ERA) even played in their own Conference Championship game, while the lions were there once in 1991 and got wholloped by The Redskins

To compare the Broncos have been there 8 times since 1977, winning 6 of them.

Gotta go with the Detroit Lions. At least Arizona fans have had some things to look forward to, they have some young, talented recievers and a great situation at QB. The Lions, on the other hand...

The Lions will win more games than the Cardinals this season...Book it!

they both suck. I would not go on Dets week 1 win over an equally pathetic Raider team that was a seive on defense this week.

Det has to play the AFC west this year. Good luck to them in the other 3 games, which I see as losses.
SD will kill them, we should beat them and KC will improve as the season goes on and should beat them as well IMO

If the Lions actually win 10 games it will be the greatest moment in sports histroy, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

I thought if the Tampa Bay Devil Rays win 82 games that would be

Nah, but if they won 90 it would be a different story...

If they won 100 I'm pretty sure the world would collapse on itself.

I'm not basing that on week one. I have thought the Lions would be good for months.

I never said they'd win 10, just that they will win more than the Cards. I don't think 8 or 9 wins is out of the question.
