Reading Michael Klis' piece in the Denver Post, it is interesting that Pittman is to be in for a physical first (smart) and is to get the vet min $830K.

As I recall, a vet can sign and even recieve up to a $40K signing bonus and have their salary count only 1/2 against the cap. At $400Kish, Micael Pittman looks attractive given the talent array he brings (blocking, pass catching...FB experience etc).

I was also curious how he was reported signed while no cut was announced to clear a spot. Since Pittman's ankle was problematic, it seems the braintrust wants to see before buying.

Yes, I saw that and read. Might have missed it, but my point was that Pittman was not yet signed, though he may be pending a physical today..Wednesday.

Well not to give you a hard time OR step on your shoes. I personally would have put it in the same thread w/ all the other Pittman related issues. But hey, thats me...
