(fm the AP) ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Wide receiver Brandon Stokley (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/4755/;_ylt=AmQNO_F.abpHE5SF9jYzFlRev6F4) was held out of Thursday's passing camp practice by the Denver Broncos (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/den/;_ylt=AsPGaIBcyKWzNrckRtTPqvhev6F4), the latest workout he's missed because of a shoulder injury.

Coach Josh McDaniels says Stokley has missed several of the team's spring practices since falling on his shoulder during a recent workout.

He did not elaborate on when Stokley suffered the injury, and, as a matter of routine, does not put a timeline on a player's return from injury.

The injury put another hole in the Broncos wide receiver corps as the team works its way through a spring practice schedule that wraps up in mid-June.

Two of the team's draft picks, wide receivers Demayrius Thomas and Eric Decker (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/24062/;_ylt=ArzoV.vmHwYjX1msgoy5cItev6F4), are coming off foot surgery and have yet to practice with the team.

More great news for the health of the Broncos. The 07 season keeps flashing in my mind, when injury decimated the team.

Lets hope they get the injury bug done and gone with before the start of the season. Would rather see it now than later, but its not fun hearing about at all, about any player on any team IMO.

Absolutely, let's just get those nasty things out of the way now, and be healthy all the way to the playoffs. :salute:

The season is still months away...I'm not worried about injuries at all.

Plus, Stokley will be good for missing at least 4 games regardless of his shoulder, or some other injury.

He probably won't be our problem though.

I think you're both right.

Come on, Brandon -- feel better! I hate it when good people get injured. Just one player being injured could bring a whole team down. Seeing as I'm from Indianapolis, I remember hearing a whole bunch of stories about preventing Peyton Manning from being injured. I bet they secretly wrapped Peyton up in bubble wrap between practice games. XD
