Dunno why he's studying. "Run 5 yards downfield, wait, see if Orton throws it to you" or "Jog further than 10 yards and know you're never getting the ball thrown your way" can't really be a hard thing to master, can it?

Last year was the same ol’ Orton as far as completions go: 70% completion rate from 1-10 yards, 41% over 10 yards.

If Tebow can wind up actually completing passes in the 11-20 yard range, he’s gonna be my hero.

Maybe Thomas just wants to be prepared for when he might actually get a ball on a non-screen/button hook/7 yard slant.
