Haven't seen this posted yet so here ya go.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- A day after adding seven players in rounds three through seven of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Broncos added seven more.

The team announced the additions of Houston running back Anthony Alridge, Oklahoma kicker Garrett Hartley, tackle Mitch Erickson from South Dakota State, tackle Tyler Polumbus from Colorado, Toledo punter Brett Kern, Texas-El Paso wideout Lorne Sam and Kentucky linebacker Wesley Woodyard.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

In order to stay under the 80-man roster limit, the Broncos released defensive tackle Michael Bozeman, safety Steve Cargile, offensive lineman Mark Fenton, fullback Steven Jackson, linebacker William Kershaw, fullback Paul Smith and running back Marquis Weeks.

Cargile and Smith both saw time with the Broncos in 2007, mostly on special teams. Cargile made six special teams tackles and also forced a fumble, while Smith appeared in 14 games making two special teams tackles.

Bozeman and Fenton both spent time on the practice squad and Jackson, Kershaw and Weeks were signed as free agents after the season.

MORE ON THE ROOKIES

Over his career at Houston, Alridge gained 2,595 yards on the ground, averaging an impressive 7.15 yards per rushing attempt. In 2006, Alridge set a Conference USA single-season record by averaging 10.09 yards per carry, the best average in the NCAA since Glenn Davis of Army averaged 11.51 yards in 1945. Last season, he carried 259 times for 1,597 yards and 14 touchdowns. He ranked third on the team with 42 receptions for 428 yards and five scores.

Hartley finished his career at Oklahoma as the school's third-leading kick scorer with 317 points. His 47 field goals made also rank third in the Sooner record book and he set a school record by making 81 percent of his field-goal attempts during his career.

Erickson started all 44 games during his career playing at both guard and tackle. A two-time AFCA Division I Football Championship Subdivision Coaches' All-American, Erickson was part of an offensive unit that averaged 34.2 points per game and allowed only 12 sacks during the 2007 season.

A Denver-area native, Polumbus attended Cherry Creek High School before enrolling at Colorado. As a senior, Polumbus earned All-Big Twelve Conference second-team honors, totaling 68 knockdowns, four touchdown-resulting blocks and allowed just one quarterback sack.

Kern completed his career as a four-year punter at Toledo by finishing second in the Football Bowl Subdivision in gross average yards per attempt. He also served as the team's holder on field goals and extra points.

Sam was one of the more versatile athletes at Texas-El Paso, playing both quarterback and wide receiver. Sam began his collegiate career at Florida State University, but transferred to Texas-El Paso in 2005. In 18 games, Sam started 11 games. He completed 13-of-25 passing attempts for 185 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. In addition he carried 76 times for 430 yards and four scores, adding 761 yards and a touchdown on 54 receptions.

Woodyard is another player who comes to the Broncos after playing multiple positions in college. He began his career in Lexington as a strong safety, where he played until moving to linebacker midway through his freshman campaign. He went on to start 42 games at weak-side linebacker, amassing 395 tackles, good for eighth in Kentucky record books.

Acutally wanted to draft Woodyard. He's def a playmaker. Hopefully he'll impress and do great things on special teams.

I agree. He's a tweener, too small for linebacker (? - maybe), not comfortable at safety (? - maybe). But he'll play special teams. Too bad we didn't get Derrick Docket out of Oregon State who is the same kind of player. Tampa Bay signed him as a free agent, I think.
