The Broncos added a few undrafted rookie free agents Sunday night, receiving commitments from: Cherry Creek High School grad Tyler Polumbus, who started 26 games at tackle in his career at CU; Oklahoma kicker Garrett Hartley; Toledo punter Brett Kern; Houston running back Anthony Alridge, a 170-pounder who was one of the fastest players at the scouting combine with a 4.36 40-yard dash - he ran for 1,597 yards last season and caught 42 passes; Texas-El Paso wide receiver Lorne Sam; and South Dakota State guard Mitch Erickson.

So what's the scoop on this guy?

Being a mild Oklahoma fan, I can tell you that Hartley has a good leg on him and can give the ball a good boot.

Hartley is 12-18 on FGs over 40 yards for his career and 7-8 in his last 2 years. His career long is 53 yards.

Also, he is 32-35 on FGs over the last 2 years and has never missed a FG under 30 yards.

He's a solid kicker. As an OU fan I was never worried when he came in to kick. I'm not sure that he has the strongest leg out there, but he is very accurate, and the ones every kicker should make (<35 yards), he makes 'em.

I still would like to see him and Carmody battle it out.
