There are a couple Roth conversations going on in the draft forum as well as other teams. He isn't on the Broncos, so this will be moved to one of the others. Sorry.

Perhaps this just applies to the Broncos, but it seems like as soon as you talk about trading a player, he's already traded.

They really want to, but they won't give him away for nothing.

NFLN just reported that the Rams said no thanks.

Bills say no to Roethlisberger too

The Bills have joined the St. Louis Rams in saying no to a possible trade for Ben Roethlisberger, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Steelers have reportedly contacted the Rams, 49ers, Raiders, Bills, Jaguars, Seahawks and Browns about Roethlisberger. Other teams may have said no, but it's uncertain who.

Most noteworthy on this list: The Steelers would consider trading Roethlisberger inside the division. That seems far-fetched, but the fact the call was made says everything you need to know about how the Steelers feel about Roethlisberger right now.

I could see the crypt keeper saying yes to bringing man-bear-pig into the fold. Davis doesn't mind someone with dark clouds hanging over them, character doesn't seem to be a big issue for him as far as off field things go.

Otherwise... given whos on the short list now, I just don't think anyone will say yes to taking a chance on von repenstein.

I can't believe Pit would trade their #1 WR and a franchise QB in the same off season.

Man, talk about an organization that has no clue what they are doing.

Much easier to do after winning the 2 super bowl rings then when you are trying to get there.

Yea, at least we were patient. We got rid of 1 each season. They might get rid of both in one offseason

the Dolphins should pick him up. They would have someone that can throw Marshall the ball

his low trade value will probably be the only thing that saves him from being traded...

he is worth this and any year's #1 pick easy... a proven player, a proven winner, a great qb, 2 SBs...

what does the #1 draft pick have?? college bust potential of more than 50%...

I did not vote - but there are so many things that could happen:

If they keep him - what happens if the Steelers should only win 1 or 2 or maybe 0 games while he is suspended - do you REALLY think the rest of the team will be anywhere near happy with him for more than likely costing them those loses, and possibly their season?

If they trade him - who, on their roster at QB, is going to give them a legitimate chance of making even the playoffs this year?

Either way - I think it could be a LOSE LOSE situation.
