So, according to Deion Sanders on the NFL NEtworks "NFL Gameday" show, and his Prime Time top 10 plays of the week, the Broncos game winning FG was the #2 best play of the day. The #1 play was not a play at all, but was an ex-player (wasn't sure hwo it was) who was recieving a standing ovation in Dallas.

So, woohoo :second: :whoo:, more reason to be happy about the win, and mroe chances to see those last beautiful seconds that will make tomorrow a whole lot brighter.

....and that winning FG is so deserving. I mean after Javon caught the ball there was 14 seconds left on the clock and to get the offense off the field, the FG unit on the field, and get the kick off in time with no false start is quite impressive. It should be :first: IMO, yet I am a little biased when it comes to that.

That whole final drive seems a little surreal now...the fourth down conversions, Javon's incredible catch on Jay's perfect throw...the execution of the special teams when the game was at stake...did that all really happen??

That field goal comes close the the most astounding play I have ever seen in
my roughly half-century of watching and playing football. Here we had 11
different players, all having to assume their positions at a specific, unmarked
location on the field. They couldn't look around for too long to get their
bearings. They just had to get into their stance. No time to prepare, no
predetermined snap count. Just go when it is time . . . whenever that is.

Leach has to do more: He has to spin the ball to the right position in his hand
and snap it NOW when he sees the signal from the holder Sauerbrun, who had
to plop down in the right place . . . again without surveying where that should
be.

Elam can't take his practice swing. He has to practically run backwards and
hope he has gotten the right distance and angle for his approach. Before he is
even set, the ball is down, and his foot has already to be moving forward,
at the right velocity, in precisely the right angle to get the ball over the
crossbar and between the uprights.

All this happened in roughly 10 seconds.

As I said, this comes close the the greatest single play in Broncos history.
And I have seen virtually all of Broncos history.

Wow. :salute:
