Hey all, Over the next few weeks, I am building a Broncos TV room in my basement. Any tips/ideas/pics/examples to toss out would be appreciated. I am, however, definitely starting w/ this:

I'm thinking I may just paint the bottom of the room blue and the top half orange and find a border strip to break up the middle. Anyone know of any Bronco borders. I'm having issue finding em. Thanx

Or his soul and pinky finger.

Smilin', what kind of TV room is this for? Is it more for movies and the kids, or more for sports/bar/party type of thing?

paint is unimportant, as long as you've got a kegerator!

Carpet looks good. Isn't it homedepot that advertises they carry paint the exact colors of the NFL teams?

It's basically just a Bronco gameday shrine. I'm sure there will be more TV watchin than that, but it's basically a TV room.

I don't have seats from Mile High, but I do have a seat back that I was going to connect to a wooden chair frame.

Yep...already got the paint.

I guess my only concern is that the checkers and the orange/blue walls may be overkill. I'm gonna get a leather or neutral couch or sectional to break it up a bit though.

now you need a signed, game-worn elway jersey to hang in a prominent place. . . .

My wife made my home office into a Bronco room. Did this a a birthday surprise two years ago.. came home one day and it was done..

Painted it gloss white and put a bronco helmet border around the top of the room. Then painted the trim in Blue and orange. Took an old clock and replaced the back ground with a helmet picture..

Got some of the curtains to cover the window. Hung my Little Caesars John Elway poster and hung all my jerseys around the room.

Hung huge Reserved Parking for Bronco Fans only on the door to the office..

Put up a shelf above the closet, for all the small bronco stuff such as the Super bowl ball caps.. Hung bronco pictures on the walls..

NOW I work from home, so see this all the time..

**************

Just some advise DO not make it to dark in the room use the paint as high lites or over part of the walls.. Other wise it will be a dungeon..

I have 3 panoramics to hang. I also have that wooden hanging that cam out a few years back w/ all the uniforms in Denver history. I took a photo of the Invesco sign and my mom blew it up and frames it for xmas 1 year. We're looking to build a corner shelf for all by nick nacks, McFarland's, etc. I wanna get a 60 inch TV, but was told since the room is only 15x12, I don't wanna go beiiger than 46.

I work at the Depot in the paint department (don't make fun). The colors for the NFL teams come in the Glidden paint brand. All the colors are generic for all the teams through there colors. The Broncos orange and all the other teams with similar oranges have the same color through the teams colors through Glidden paint, same with blues, browns, ect. Youd be better off bringing in a peice of fabric that is Bronco blue or orange. Make sure it's a solid color about the size of a quarter and have them "color match" it. If you want the better quality paint go with Behr pronounced bear. You can go with glossy sheens like satin or semi-gloss. I wouldn't recoment high-gloss only because it's not specific to interior. If you want less shine you could go with flat enamle or eggshell. They are all washable and water based. Hope this helps.

On a side note, my room is partly Broncos themed too. I just left the walls white and painted an orange and blue and orange stripes down the middle of the wall with a broncos logo.

That's what my wife and I were just talking about. We were gonna go neutral carpet and do the 1/2blue and 1/2 orange walls. Now that I've found the Denver carpet tiles, she thinks it'd look better to go 1 solid blue wall and 3 white/cream walls w/ blu and orange horizontal striping near the top of the walls.
