Tomorrow is my sons first day of kindergarten.

as some here know, he has PDD, which is a form of autism.
I hope he can continue his progress and be able to handle change better without melting down every time one occurs.

I appreciate all the kind words everyone here gives my:beer:

Best of luck to your son Med. How many kids will be in his class?

Oh yes, Med, I remember your son.

I do wish him well, with all my heart. He'll probably get through it even better than you though, Daddy. But....I'd feel very apprehensive if I were in your shoes, and have felt that way with my own daughter, for a lot less reason(s) for concern.

Hope all goes well for him.

Remember the link I gave you back on BM about the man with PDD who drew a huge sketch of roam seeing it for only 3 minutes, and he sketched every little stinkin' detail?

right now there are only 10-12 but we are still fighting on the "correct"
classroom. It can be really ugly with attorneys involved.

Thanks to all for the well wishes, I really appreciate it

School systems can be very hard to get to comply with regulations in place. Even though the state/federal law might require they do certain things, sometimes they basically just refuse, citing staffing, funding or other reasons.

Sorry I did not respond earlier. Been very busy at work etc

he did well and so far is doing well at school. His main problems are at home where he
has such a hard time with changes and is such a concrete thinker. I just hope the new behavioral plan helps him.

I thank everyone for the kind words

if you ever come to Boston we can :grillin:
