Now that the first game is done and dusted, I will pre-empt all the threads, and start the Official ditching thread.

Who gets fired?

Who gets the starting job?

Whats up with the special teams?

Also, Im liking the move to make Selvin Young #2 more and more after that heads up play.

Ian Gold misses too many tackles.

Every game there is ALWAYS a thread or twenty calling for someone to be fired!

I was not at all happy with our Special Teams.

We should fire our entire special teams other than Elam and Sauerbrun.

me either . . . i like what hixon was able to do but he needs some blocking, he cant just get away from 3-4 guys without a little help, we are just terrible at setting up punts for some reason

Ditch Jay Cutler and sign Brady Quinn ;)

I'm not at the ditch anybody point just yet.

I'm very disappointed in Ian Gold, and our special teams return and coverage aspects were atrocious.

We need to start Quincy and make Hixon inactive next week IMO, and learn how to tackle.

LJ and LT will set records against us if we play like that again.

Hixon isn't a good return man in my opinion.

Might want to reconsider what you posted, as Champ made a td saving tackle on special teams, and I don't think you want him fired.

The Special Teams was definitely frustrating... Oh well, can't be perfect everywhere. I'm really pleased that Denver came out with a win. Statistically speaking, there is no reason we should have been losing at all. I think with some improved execution our offense can be something special.

Fire all non-specialists on our special teams. Replace them with local homeless persons at the minimum salary. We'll save money, get some people out of poverty, and our special teams won't get any worse! :D

Did JaMarcus Russell sign with anyone?

We need a back up QB.

No wait, we don't!

Hixon isn't a good return man in my opinion.

i liked what he was able to do when he had semi decent blocking . . . . its def not hixons fault.

he NEEDS blocking, hes a straight ahead burner, not a guy thats supposes to make everybody miss, give him a chance before we kick him to the curb,

IMO nobody would have done better with the way the blocking set him up:mad:

ZOMG!!!!!!!!!

Have you seen the 'Elam sucks' thread on Broncos Mania/Country?

So funny, cos he did it before Jason saved our bacon!

All offensive linemen minus Chris Myers, Ryan Harris and Chris Kuper.

Oh yeah and Ian Gold.

I am serious, unfortunately this will have to wait for the off-season.

I can't think of anyone we should ditch right now; our special teams performed the way our offense and defense did; they had some really bad and really good moments; getting the field goal unit to come onto the field, set up, then execute perfectly under literally a few seconds was amazing. I doubt there are that many teams in the league that could do what they did without incurring some kind of penalty , let alone have the poise to sink it from 42 yards.

Get rid of Jake and put in Jay

Oh wait that was last year - sorry

I didnt get to see the game :( so I cant say - but from the score are offense could have done a bit better, unless the Bills defense is just that good and from popular opinion it looks as though special teams sucked AGAIN -

Ditch those homafied (not homos, I could care less) CBS broadcasters. They did thier best to jinx Elam, and everytime Lynch ran for more then 5 yards, youd think the Bills won a SB or something..:tsk:
