why do the winters have to be so icky there - i have an opp. to move back into the house my grandfather built by hand in the 1940's when he was in his later 60's - its in Somers CT, nice small town and we have some land with a cool stream (although its landlocked) and the person who owns the land locking it is mafia and wants to pay us pennies on the $$ for it

I say screw him!!!!!!!!!!! I want that land and house to stay in my family forever!!!
