SIRIUS NFL (http://www.kffl.com/team/77/nfl) Radio The SIRIUS Blitz reports the Denver Broncos (http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl) are interested in free-agent RB Michael Pittman (http://www.kffl.com/player/1824/nfl) (Buccaneers).

I think he would be a great backup.

Why? Are we going for a 7 headed monster at RB?

He is a decant/good back, He has no upside though, why would we bring him here? We have 3 decant/good backs already, 2 of which still have upside.

If we signed Pittman it wouldn't bother me, because he wouldn't be coming in to be the starter and he wont be expensive. That being said, the Broncos expressing interest in him doesn't mean he'll sign with us.

On May 31, 2003, Pittman was arrested for two counts of aggravated battery, when he allegedly rammed a Mercedes Benz off the road with his Hummer SUV. The occupants of the Mercedes included his wife Melissa, 2 year old daughter and their babysitter. The incident happened after wife Melissa fled the home following an altercation with Pittman.

I will get flamed for this but.... I think screw pittman, we should bring ron dayne back..

NO i am not a dyane fanatic, like daynetraine. But seriously everytime the guy was running for us he tore it up.. He was released when the texans signed c brown.

He knows the system, would come cheap, is a a small bowling ball like henry, but alteast he stays healthy....

And yes i know we released him because he was hurt, but he had truf toe. Not something you get every year.

We should have kept Dayne before, butit is not worth picking him up now. His best chance to shine with us is gone.

Wow. Im surprised so much negativity towards Pittman.

He is a very good runningback the moment he steps into the orange and blue unis.

This guy has speed to burn, is strong, and can catch out of the backfield. I think alot of people would be surprised at him playing here. Not saying a starter, but a spark plug when he comes in. He is better than Young and Hall both, even if hes a little on the downside of his career.

As they say here:

If can............can.

If no can..............no can.

Dayne played alright in spot duty but I'm not so sure he would have do so well as full time starter.

C"mon War. Pittman was good in his prime. He's old now. I think Young is better than Pittman right now as a 3rd down guy out of the backfield which is all Pittman would be if he came here.
The guy's like 89 yrs old. :D

I'd rather draft Xavier Omon or Tashard Choice on Day 2 than shop at Scrubs R Us for a RB.
