Prospects, trades, injuries, hot/cold, we can all talk about it hear.

My draft for my work league happened tonight (defending champ), pretty happy with my team, alot of pop with good speed. There are six stats for batters as opposed to five for pitchers so I went hevy on the hitters. Team was Helton's Heros but Todd was jacked a round or two ahead of where I wanted him.

Twins closer Joe Nathan has a torn ligament in his elbow, could miss the entire season, will decide on surgury soon.

Early options for the closer role are Jon Rauch and Matt Guerrier.

Man, I have to submit my keeper lists in both of my fantasy baseball leagues, and I have no desire to get ready for those leagues. I am so burnt on fantasy baseball leagues. Looking back, I guess it's been close to 25 years I've been doing it. When I first started it, we used to have to get our stats from an FTP or BBS type system, and the web was either non existent or in its VERY early infancy.

I used to have an advantage, because I was about the only person that had newswire access, via Compuserve. I would get team reports and other wire service stuff, that people just looking at magazines or last years stats didn't have access to.

The last few years, it's been tough to get any excitement for fantasy baseball, but I don't really want to stop.

Went with the same stratagy again not reaching for pitching early, Halladay or Lincecum I would of went with in round two in this draft but both were gone. I have been targeting power this year, HR/RBI and with my OF speed, just see what happens with the avg. I should have a good hold on saves if injuries don't pop up.
