How are we doing? [Archive]

Until the last three or four days, I have been pretty scarce around here because of some work and other stuff the last few weeks, maybe even the last month or so (time flies). This is just a general check in about how things are going.

How is the server running? (I am running a repair/optimize as I type this, so things might have been slow for a few minutes, but in general how is it running)

What can we do different to make Broncosforums.com a better place?

You get the idea, I'm just looking for some general feedback (not fishing for back slapping or comments about how great things are) as to how things are going and if there are areas we should be looking to change to keep the message board a fun place for people to hang out.

Things seem to be running quite well TNed.

The only problem I have been having, and I think it's my computer, is I have problems going from my PM box to user cp, or really anywhere.

If i'm in the pm box at

http://broncosforums.com/forums/private.php

and click user cp I go to:

http://broncosforums.com/forums/private.php/usercp.php

The problem gets worse depending on how many pm's I have viewed. For instance if I look at three pm's I have the "private.php" added three times. If I then click usercp I get:

http://broncosforums.com/forums/private.php/private.php/private.php/usercp.php

That's a new one for me. I'll get with vBulletin support and see if they have an explanation. I'll let you know what they say.

Try uninstalling wife 1.0, or job 2.3 There will be negative consequences to uninstalling either, don't say I didn't warn you.

Well, I encountered a "fatal error" when attempting to uninstall either program. Guess I've got to try another method....

Great job Tned. You have created something really special here. It's funny I was on the other board and had my 100 post, joined in 2004. Joined in Sept 2008 have over 500, that's a lot for me. Thank you for making me feel so welcome..

I would be careful guys. Trying to uninstall a wife can create a really deadly virus.
