Without a doubt, we will select one, maybe even two OTs in this draft, unless we sign one of the many wonderful FAs out there.
I dont think its a lock for the 12th pick or the second round, but we are going to take some OLmen.
Heck, Pears and Harris are the only two listed on our roster as of the moment, with Kuper as a standby? Its possible Denver has designs on moving Kupes to OT, but either way, would we go into the season with Harris at LT, Pears at RT, and Kuper backing them both up?
I dont think so. At the same time, we want Harris on the field, not on the bench. That means an Olinemen to groom, is in the sights.
This is a perfect draft to get a guy in the third (I know we dont have a third), maybe fourth who can really turn out to be a stud after a couple more years. The class is that deep.
Tony Hill was a converted TE, and only began starting in 06, but got injured last year. He was showing good improvement.
If we take a guy at 12, its Williams I want, not Clady. Clady is a year or two off from bein dominant imo. But he could turn out to be the best out of all of em. I dont see Denver bringin in an OT to sit with the 12th pick. If they allow him to sit, it will be with the second round selection.
