I am sure you are like most of us and have seen plenty of bad movies....there are some "bad" movies like Freddy Got Fingered that no one seems to understand the joke about it (but if you do, you think this movie is great)....but I am talking about movies that are unintentionally bad.

Here are some of the worst I have seen:

Transformers - The Michael Bay pile of crap (not the 1986 animated masterpiece) was compounded by the fact that anticipation on my part was so great, and instead I was stuck watching some stupid annoying kid as the lead, and some stupid bitch (who is not that hot) who cant act. When the Autobots and Decepticons are fighting, you can't tell who is who. What is scarier, I heard the sequal was worse!

Envy...that was so bad.

Isn't there already a thread like this?
maybe not...

I can agree with you on everything but the parentheseed statement.

She is one of the hottest chicks on the planet.

Pay it Forward. It was decent until the end. The ending ruined whatever good the movie had and made it awful.

You realize that the ending was based on the true story, right?

Also, 2012 was absolutely garbage....good thing I didn't pay to see it. All the special effects only added to its retardacy.

Me and a buddy were watching Zombieland, (which was freaking hilarious) and 2012 wa a preview. We counted 30 times or so that Cusack and his clan miraculously escaped death. Just in the preview. While millions perished around him. You can't have a successfull disaster flick unless you are invested in the loss of human life. CGI devastation on a massive scale with a cardboard plot. I can suspend disbelief with the best of them, but I have to be wined and dined first.

Yup, and another thing you need is likable characters. I have to 'want' the main characters to live more than anything else. Basically it's gotta be like "OMG! HALF THE COUNTRY IS ONE FIRE FROM THE DEPTHS OF A VOLCANO STARTED BECAUSE OF /random whatever....BUT THANK GOD THE SMITH CLAN IS ALIVE WOOT!"

I don't remember in the past what movies have disgusted me, but recently I can name a few: " Pandorum " ; " Avatar " ; " Transformers " ; " Whiteout " They just don't make good, intelligent movies anymore.

recently...

transformers 2 - must have been written by a 10 year old, enough fart and humping jokes already...

avatar - 3 minute plot dragged out for 3 ******* hours.

dont know the name, but my wife made me watch a horrible movie with Sandra Bullock in which she stalks some fag around the country. I wanted to kill myself about 10 minutes in.

Citizen Kane. I don't care that people say this is such a great movie. It is old and dated and it clearly shows. We had to watch it in school once and I slept through most of it.

Battlefield Earth was and always is the first movie that comes to mind. As a science fiction junkie, it made me hate science fiction.

As far as movies that were at one point considered serious, Go and watch "Easy Rider" some time. It is flat out dreadful - painfully dated, with a message delivered so heavily handed it hurts. A good reminder of what a POS era the 60's were.

I sat through Muriels Wedding with my wife. Both of us agreed it was a pointless turd of a Movie. 2 hours and no plot in the end - at all. It was all pointless
