"The former Chargers' safety and new Broncos' safety gives his honest opinion on the Chargers and why they released him as well as his opinion on Philip Rivers and whether he should be a little less talkative on the sideline. We had to bleep Marlon, so you know it's worth listening to."

Starts off showing respect to John Lynch and the Broncos.

Talks about why he was cut by the Chargers. Says it was because of the coaching change. If Marty stayed he probably would still be there.

Says he isn't much of a special teams guy and he understands why the Chargers cut him.

Said some of the coaches told it how it is and he respects those coaches. Some of the coaches were pretty much liars.

Says he can't wait to knock some receivers out.

Came to Denver because of Shanahan and the division. Wants to win and help the Broncos beat the Chargers. Couldn't turn down working with Champ, Lynch, and Dre Bly.

Says he wanted the one year contract. Says all he has to do is hold his end of the deal and he feels the Broncos will sign him longer and he wants to retire a Denver Broncos.

Says he will be at the John Lynch Jr. Gold tournament.

Says playing the Chargers twice a year was part of his decision, but he does not look forward to tackling L.T.

Talks about how John Lynch help pave the way for the money safeties make these days.

Talks about how the Broncos have a very good young QB in Jay Cutler.

Talks about Philip Rivers and how he talks trash. Talks about how how he doesn't have any class. Says when a guy like Champ Bailey calls you out then something is wrong. Says Rivers let a few guys on the Chargers influence him and talks about how QB's like Tom Brady have class and don't act like that. Says Rivers needs to grow up.

That was a good interview and it is funny to see that McCree thinks that Phyllis need to shut up. Very interesting. As he said, sometimes you need to grow, however I don't see that happening until somebody just nails him. I can't wait to see McCree just clean Rivers' clock next season. Then say "I told you needed to knock that off."

He may not have any resentment for the Charger organization, however he has to hate them now. Like he said in the interview.........knock out some WRs.

Marlon is a good man and he did great things for us in SD. He is dinged up and a bit slower now. He needs to improve his tackling over last year big time. His biggest strength is his leadership skills. Something Denver already has big time with Lynch and Champ. What Denver needs is some speed at safety. Leadership you already have in spades. Still a good pick up for Denver IMO.
