I gave my prediction in the prediction thread, but as much as I want to see the Saints win, I believe the Colts win unless Manning gets sick and can't play!!

Its because no one has a defense of either team. :lol'

Final Score 51-45 either way:eek::lol:

I am happy either way, if Manning wins then the pats fans can stop saying Brady is so much better, he is not better they are both great Qbs. Also it would Piss off the babies around here

If NO wins it would be great because they have never won before. They went from 1967 till 1987 without a winning season. Imagine that.

If there were message boards back then:lol:

Fire Bum Phillips. Archie Manning sucks lol
we complain over 4 non playoff years. How about 21 in a row with no improvement until Jim Mora Sr. was coach and that great group of Lbs in the late 80s and early 90s

Hey George Rogers and Bobby Herbert must be smiling this morning:D

Well....if they are going to score that many....we may as well make it 56 points....so Denver no longer holds the record of giving up the most points in the super bowl.

And why we are at it.....how about one of the teams scoring more than 35 points in one qtr.........I still don't know how Denver gave up 35 points in one qtr. in the superbowl.........I know I should get over it......but every time the super bowl rolls around .....I think of that........a team never allows 35 points in one qtr......let alone the superbowl .........Jesus.....

O.K..........I feel better.......

Leon Lett ruined the score one. Dallas won 52-17 with Lett fumbling on the 1 and it woudl have been 59-17 over Buffalo:lol:

to me the Super Bowl win over Farve (how ironically lol) did it for me.
Back then i respected him before he became maybe the most self absorbed athlete of all time. I am still happy they lost because of him. He is the ultimate choker period to me.

Yea....that damn Lett......(and Tasker as well for running up behind him.........lol)...

I agree about Favre......I hate the guy......and really never have liked him....good to see him choke in his last 2 championship games......throwing absolutely stupid interceptions.....

the 35 points in one qtr. will never be broken(and if I remember right,,,,,they were all offensive scores).....imo...........but I guess the 56 points would be possible......

Morning all,

Since I lost my ### on the Jets/Colts game yesterday....GO SAINTS!. Gutsy performance by Favre last night, the old man took a serious beating and wouldn't stay down. I have a gut feeling it's finally the Saints year. Besides, does anyone really want a team from the armpit of the Midwest to win another title?. I'm still a bit mystified that the same team the Bears beat in the same game 3 years ago are meeting the same team the Bears lost to in the SB...and in the same stadium as well.

That's just too coincidental, Saints will win this game.

I do too. Listening to Mike and Mike this morning they are trying to sell the idea that the Colts defense is better than it is. However, its really not and they just happened to play a struggling Bmore offense in recent weeks and a rookie QB. The Colts will have their hands full with the Saints. They are for REAL.

I do agree but I also think their D is better than NO's but a little bit.

Just my humble opinon. Not that its right.

I really dont care who wins really, its win win for me as I posted earlier. :salute:

Rex gone
Favre gone

What a game. I have to give it to Favre. I didn't think he had it in him. But, I am SOOO GLAD that the big game will NOT be about him!!! For a while there yesterday I had visions of the next 2 weeks being a "lick Favre's big ones" festival.

I really hope the 2 teams will keep their heads for the next couple weeks and not buy into their own hoopla, so that we will see another great, down to the wire game! :salute:

ok North, you've officially reached

not only did you pick both teams against mine but now it's a different tune

the thing i've heard from week to week is how the Ravens and Jets were going to maul and demolish us with their big offensive line against our "small" defensive line, how because they beat our biggest rivals they would handle us soundly because of their past performances against the supposed "hot" teams, how we couldn't do it because we were "rusty"

okay.....now what?

now it's how we "got by" because we didn't play the Patriots or Chargers, or we were supposed to be here and that we can't handle the Saints because of their passing attack and that they are playing "lights out" defensively

heh, putting up a second half shut-out versus them letting the opposition put up 28- yep, the Saints D sure are playing "lights out"

i'm not saying the Saint's doesn't have a chance, because they do with Brees playing, however, again, this Colts team STILL has many of the starters from our last Super Bowl win on BOTH sides of the ball, where the Saint's are playing with emotion, which doesn't always work out for the good

again though, thats why the games are played, so we will see

I was just talking to my little sister, who lives in Lafayette, La, and she said last night was like the 4th of July. People were popping fireworks, hootin and hollerin, and on top of the world!! I told here if the Saints can somehow pull out the SB win, Louisiana and New Orleans is going to be one big party for a whole week in a half because it'll be the week before Mardi Gras as well. It'll be crazy down there!!

I'm about 90% sure I'm going to mardi Gras this year, so it should be interesting. But for anyone that knows anything about Mardi Gras...the best parties aren't inside N.O. city limits or on Bourbon St.

If you get a chance head to Mamou, La for a real cajun Mardi Gras.

Who could ever forget that game that watched it. I guess advertisers were so pissed at the Broncos, like who would keep watching the game after the 35 points. Thank goodness Buffalo stunk it up too after us.

It's part of the reason I can't get too upset at this year. If I did't stop being a Bronco fan when my team gave up 35 points in a qrt, well I don't think I'm going anywhere. Thanks BP....I think I need to drink now.....:wine:

I still think the 49er super bowl was worse in Jan 1990
:tsk:

but 1997-98 erased all those bad memories for me :D

I can't remember which was worse, they both sucked. Thank goodness for 97. I was like childbirth. The labor were the bad SB the beautiful baby was 97. (My Mom was dying from cancer in 98 so as much as I enjoyed the win, there was too much pain in my life at time to feel the joy.)

but the Insanity Workout will require healthy and balanced nutrition due to its intensity. Healthy and balanced nutrition is made of all of the proper minerals and vitamins needed to make it through the challenging and hard workouts designed into the insanity workout schedule (http://www.insanityworkoutschedule.org/).
If you do decide to give p90x workout schedule (http://www.p90xworkoutschedule.me/) a try, you’re buying a series of 12 workout DVDs that take you through one of 12 hour-long routines six days a week. “It works in three phases,” Congdon says. “You do three weeks of intense bodybuilding exercises.

Polish metal mcm backpack (http://shopmcmbackpack.tumblr.com/) handbag hardware with a clean dry, or ever so slightly damp, cloth. Most longchamp cheap (http://360chicago.org/) hardware is clear-coated with lacquer so metal polishes should be avoided. If, however, the lacquer clear coat has already been removed and your hardware is solid metal, metal polishing compounds such as Tarnx or Brasso can brighten hardware finishes, though this is not recommended by the manufactuer. Wipe on according to the polish instructions and buff briskly with a clean cloth to remove residue and produce shine.
LEAN – P90X lean is for those who want a more cardio – based and slightly less intensive program . Make no mistake , this is the real deal and no picnic. In fact , you may sweat more than in P90X Workout Calendars (http://www.mygogowebs.com/). What you sacrifice in overall gain in strength and speed, you’ll make up fir with positive changes in lean body mass.

Brees is nice, but I see the Colts steam rolling the Saints. Peyton is a man possessed this year.

On a side note, I still hate Turner's guts for taking the ball out of Jones' hands in 41.

Lol........Sorry to bring up bad memories........

Med. may be right in his previous post........the SF superbowl was probably worse......I think most knew Denver would not win.....but that was still ugly.

Heck.........we were beating the skins 10-0 after the first qtr.....then suddenly we were down 35-10 at halftime....

Yes....you are right about Buffalo......and the Vikings as well.......
