Any fans of horror or The Wizard of Oz need to buy this book. Shadows of the Emerald City, the best book in years. All short stories by different authors. It is on Amazon and only $16.

are all the stories somehow based on the wizard of oz ? or just some?
my daughter loves the original and i love horror stuff could be fun reading

They are all based on the Wizard of OZ. 19 Stories in 316 Pages It is very well done and all small time authors, so I like to support. I think it is just awesome.

Thats cool. Reminds me of a similar thing they did with Star Wars called Death Troopers where there was a bunch of zombie stormtroopers on a derelict ship.

I don't know who would have wrote that because Star Wars has a copyright The Wizard of Oz is an Open Source novel. These are really good stories, not saying the Star Wars ones were not but I am surprised they were not taken to court for that

Oh, the star wars one is licensed by Lucas. Its at Barnes and Noble. Just the horror take on the story reminded me of the book.

Wizard of Oz is scary enough as it is!
