A Celebration of Life memorial for Bob Howsam is scheduled Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Royal Oaks Lifecare Community, 10015 Royal Oak Road in Sun City, Ariz.
Howsam, a pioneer sports figure in Denver with professional baseball and the founder of the Denver Broncos franchise, died last week in Sun City. He would have been 90 on Thursday.
Howsam's sons, Robert and Ed, are scheduled to speak. Howsam also is survived by Janet Howsam, his wife of 68 years.
Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery in Denver at a date still to be determined.
