Adam Schefter in a "tweet" reminded me the final 8 playoff teams will have their hands tied this offseason if no labor deal:

"In the coming uncapped year, teams that reach Final 8 cannot sign free agents unless they lose one."

To clarify I believe these teams can sign 1 free agent every time they lose one. If McD is as active in free agency as last year this rule is going to help the Broncos.

Had no idea about that - but definitely does sound good if the Broncos are active in free agency like they were this past season.

This is where the ol "3 team trades" bypass the rule.

Hmm...perhaps this was part of Mc Daniels evil plan. Now we *really* know why Marshall and Sheffler were benched!

If Belichek lets Wilfork walk I would be all for Denver trying to sign him.

I'll take Wilfork, Seymour, or Mankins. Get what ever player that McDaniels sees fit so we all can see what he can really do instead of everybody wanting to crucify him after only a year.
