If the Season ended today the Broncos would be the 5 Seed.

For Denver to play at least another game in January, one of these Ten scenarios have to play out tomorrow. Here's a simplified list from Sports Illustrated I thought I'd post here.

Denver clinches a playoff spot with:

1) DEN win + NYJ loss or tie + BAL loss or tie OR

2) DEN win + NYJ loss or tie + PIT loss or tie OR

3) DEN win + NYJ loss or tie + HOU win OR

4) DEN win + BAL loss or tie + PIT loss or tie OR

5) DEN win + BAL loss or tie + HOU win OR

6) PIT loss + BAL loss + HOU loss + JAC loss OR

7) PIT loss + BAL loss + HOU loss + NYJ loss OR

8) PIT loss + BAL loss + JAC loss + NYJ loss OR

9) PIT loss + HOU loss + JAC loss + NYJ loss OR

10) MIA loss or tie + NYJ loss + BAL loss + HOU loss + JAC loss or tie

Just win tomorrow Baby. Go :defense:

Any scenario involving a BAL loss is probably out of the equation.

3) DEN win + NYJ loss or tie + HOU win OR
This one looks highly probable.

This one looks highly probable.

I doubt it. NE and Cincy are in. I doubt they'll go all out just to see who the 3rd or 4th seed is. One will lose (probably Cincy), but I don't see Houston beating NE this week.

BAL is not going to lose
NYJ are not going to lose, CIN will not play its starters past the 2nd quarter at most.

Broncos wont beat KC anyway...

I think Houston beats NE, meaning the Bengals are playing for the third seed and therefore won't rest their players unless they get blown out, which I doubt will happen.

Pittsburgh isn't going to lose to Miami and the Ravens aren't going to lose to Oakland...

I think we've gotta hope for a Houston win (Welker is out--probably a blown knee) and Cincy playing for the #3 seed.

All we can hope now is that the Welker injury will scare BB into pulling his starters.

Ok so if Pitt, Denver, Baltimore and Houston win, who gets in if the Jets lose? Pittsburgh or Denver?

Probably Bmore and Houston. Pitt was complaining that NE wont try to win because they dont want to face the Steelers in the postseason.

In that case, I think it's Denver and Baltimore.

Watching early games, I think we are SCREWED!

We are. Houston is losing and Pitt is winning. Our only hope is a loss by Baltimore (which won't happen) and a win by Cincy. Oh yeah, we need to win, too which isn't guaranteed, either.

Looks like Pittsburgh and New England are going to win. If they finish their games, then we are left with these scenarios:

1) DEN win + NYJ loss or tie + BAL loss or tie OR

10) MIA loss or tie + NYJ loss + BAL loss + HOU loss + JAC loss or tie

Either way, it requires both BAL and NYJ to lose. i just don't see it happening. NYJ, maybe if Cincy shows up to play but with NE winning they have no reason to. BAL won't lose to the Raiders.

Well, one more year watching the playoffs without my Broncos, oh well. :tsk:

Tie game... I wish #10 wasn't playing for the other team.

Is it good that Houston is winning?

They're going to beat the Patriots. Do I still cheer against the Jets and Ravens?

This is confusing.

With the Texans win, the Broncos only need to win and have just one of the Ravens or Jets to lose. If the Texans lost and Steelers won, then the Broncos would need both the Jets and the Ravens to lose.

so if the Jets lose/tie and we win, we're in.

Things look pretty good then.
