In a few hours he will have been gone for three years.

Why is his murderer being brought to trial taking so long? I understand that for justice to be sure it requires time but this is getting ridiculous. The police supposedly have a witness who is under police protection and a handwritten note bragging about the killing. No wonder gang bangers don't fear the law.

Tumbana posted this pic in a thread he started on the CBMB. It was done pretty tastefully.

I think I miss that kid forever. I still tear up when I think about this morning. There are a few days I will never forget where I was and how I felt and I hate that this is one of them...RIP Darrent.

This is weird. At about 11:30 last night I was thinking about Darrent and how I received a text from a buddy of mine who isn't even a Bronco fan, that he had been shot and killed...hard to believe that was 3 years ago...

AMEN the THAT!!!!!........:salute:

Dog I would salute you a 100 times if I could.

What makes this even sadder is that this is post # 8 and I've posted twice, how many for Marshall and not playing? The good news it that DWill got me into doing charity work and this renews my commitment to helping as many kids as I can. Thanks for a great post and refocusing my perspective.

There is a hole in my heart where Darrent used to play. I don't think I can ever express how it feels.

RIP :salute:

Thank goodness the trial is at least on the docket. This somewhat renews my faith in the justice system.
