I just read his article in the Denver Post. If nothing else, he certainly is entertaining! Good read! I like his thinking...just don't know where the money would come from! Here's the link:

So...what do you think about all that?

I kinda like it.

That is definatly an interesting read and makes you think. I can't say anything about the picks because I am not knowledgeable on college players.

I don't read too many of his articles, however he is a character and cracks me up.

I kinda like it.

The free agent signings or the idea of pretending there's no salary cap?

No doubt we could fit them. Look at what the Redskins manage to do every year in free agency.

My impression was that Woody was poking a little fun at all of us fans who expect the organization to snap their fingers and suddenly be a super bowl team. It did not appear to me that he was making an attempt to be serious.

Is that on the field or off?

Trade up if necessary...Whatever it takes to get Jonathan Stewart from Oregon

I like it.

We could become closer to the defensive version of the Detroit Lions as far as 1st round picks, and I love the idea that we can be more and more like the Washington Redskins in free agent spending spree that never really translates over to the field.

At least we could be known for something.

I wonder where we get all this money to sign these guys?

I'm one of the few who've always loved Woody, Kiszla, and the rest of 'em...

Fat-Boy (aka Bill Williamson) is about the only one who I think is a waste of space...not because he's bad per sey, but rather because he contributes absolutely NOTHING.

I like Woody Paige...I like SOME of his ideas to...I would just rather spend the 1st round pick on a RB.

Yes, Woody Paige is crazy. And an egomaniac.

Woody Paige's hope for this offseason is right on. I wish we would be that aggressive, and I like who he drafted as well. The Corey Williams signing is right on too.

D-2 draft picks I would like...

We're all set at the TE position...but...just in case of injuries I'd like to see us take Kolo Kapanui from WTAMU. The dude is 6'5 255lbs. Only drawback is that he seems to be pretty injury prone

As a mid to late round gem at RB I also like Danny Woodhead from Chadron State. The leading rusher in D-2 history

I like his draft picks and FA aquisitions.

We can only hope they draft Dizon. Being undersized will keep him out of the first couple of rounds but after that he could be a diamond in the rough.

It is funny that so many people want him just for being from Colorado. I can't see another reason. Yes, he is good. The problem with everyone saying this is that EVERYONE on this board and BM has complained repeatedly about the size of our team. The entire defense is undersized along with the o-line. Why then would we want to draft an undersized LB? Wouldn't that just be making us smaller instead of the bigger and tougher that everyone wants?

I guess I was trying to make a point more about Dizon............He's smaller, but tough.........and a very good tackler..........I would definately take him with one of our 4th round picks if he's available.

Good point. I remember the draft concensus seemed to be that Bob Sanders would never make it because of his size.

Thomas...........But don't think just because a player is heavier, that it automatically means he's tougher. ...........Lott and Dennis Smith were both just 200 pounds. Romo wasn't tough just because he was 6'4'' and 245.............Romo was tough because he was tough. Size had nothing to do with it.
